The KAPRA chisels made from forged steel are individually forged by hand in the small traditional forge EID in Metten, Bavaria. They are ideal for working medium-hard stone up to the hardness of limestone and marble. The special quality of the chisels lies in the optimum hardness of the tip and cutting edge - for a long service life of the sculpting tools and great stability at the same time. KAPRA chisels with a mallet head are particularly suitable for striking with a wooden mallet. KAPRA chisels with a mallet head have a forged head with a wide shape to protect the striking tool. The wood of the mallet is less damaged and therefore wears out more slowly.
