Cowhide blade guard for carving knives and other knives with a straight, smooth, fixed blade up to approx. 89 mm in length, e.g. BeaverCraft C4 carving knife.

Durable protective sheath made of genuine, thick cowhide for chip carving knives and other knives with a straight, fixed blade. If the protective sheath should also cover part of the handle for carving tools with a shorter blade, the handle can have a format of approx. 30 mm (1.2 inches) x 18 mm (0.7 inches). Not suitable for paring and hollowing knives.

The leather sheath fulfils two functions: It protects the blade from damage during transport and storage. At the same time, it prevents injuries as you cannot accidentally reach into the blade when pulling the carving tool out of the tool bag or a drawer, for example.
